Castrol and The Race Group have officially announced their first Castrol Service Networking Event, running alongside the second annual Forever Forward Awards.
Scheduled for the evening of June 3rd at the Genting Hotel in Resorts World, the event will serve as a high-profile capstone to day one of the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event, where both companies are serving as headline sponsors.
Kicking off at 19:00 with drinks, a hot buffet, and live entertainment, the evening will ultimately shine a spotlight on the highly anticipated Forever Forward Awards.
Voting opened on March 20th, and workshops are invited to compete across five distinct categories.
Forever Forward Award categories
The Strong Social Media Award: For independent workshops demonstrating social media success, building a loyal customer following, and driving business growth.
The Building Community Award: Recognising garages that have built a strong community of customers to drive engagement and footfall.
The Extra Mile Customer Experience Award: Highlighting businesses going above and beyond in customer care, utilising the latest technology or highly trained staff to raise service standards.
The Castrol Spirit Award: Rewarding a garage that truly embraces the vision and values at the heart of the Castrol brand.
The Castrol Service Forever Forward Award: The ultimate accolade, celebrating a workshop excelling across all aspects of business and demonstrating real growth through its use of Castrol Service.
Crucially, there is no cap on entries. Castrol Service workshops are encouraged to nominate themselves for all five categories, regardless of whether they took home a trophy last year.
“We can’t wait to welcome our community to this year’s networking event and awards,” said Michelle Rice, Head of Automotive at The Race Group. “After a busy day at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event exploring future plans and the latest industry innovations, it will be fantastic to come together and celebrate the incredible achievements this year and throughout 2025.”
Cristiane Duraes, Castrol Marketing Manager UK & Ireland, echoed that sentiment, highlighting the sector’s ongoing expansion: “It’s been a successful time for our network, from acquiring new sites and moving to new locations, to garages and individuals winning industry awards. We’re looking forward to celebrating together.”
With celebrations scheduled to run until midnight, the event offers a prime opportunity to catch up with industry peers and champion the independent sector’s success.
