Following its debut at the 2025 Goodwood Festival of Speed, Milltek has confirmed production of its high-performance exhaust system for the Land Rover Defender OCTA, engineered to complement the vehicle’s 635 hp V8 engine.
The system will be available from early August.
Building on the success of previous V8 Defender models, Milltek quickly acquired an OCTA to develop a non-resonated, particulate filter-back exhaust designed to enhance the engine’s sound while maintaining emissions compliance.
The system integrates fully with the original valve control system, ensuring OCTA mode operates as intended, but with a more dynamic and engaging exhaust note.
Made from durable T304L stainless steel, the performance exhaust features twin valves 80mm larger than standard, paired with a reflective rear silencer and no centre resonator.
Optional Milltek GT100 exhaust tips are offered in polished black, brushed titanium, or burnt titanium finishes, while owners can retain the original tips for a more understated appearance.
Kev Hall, Milltek Technical Operations Manager, commented: “The exhaust delivers a well-balanced acoustic profile deeper and more engaging under throttle, yet refined at idle.
“There’s no intrusive drone at cruising speeds, and the contrast between normal and OCTA modes is much more pronounced, enhancing the driving experience without compromising comfort.”
Milltek’s prototype drew widespread praise at Goodwood, with enthusiasts praising its ability to give the OCTA the sound and character it deserved.
Pricing starts at £3,882 with the original tips, rising to £4,595 with the premium burnt titanium options.
