Community-led garage management system, Garage Hive, has announced a new integration with Dingbro, Scotland’s largest independent motor factoring group.
The integration allows users to seamlessly search Dingbro’s extensive online catalogue, add parts directly to job sheets, and generate purchase orders all from within Garage Hive.
“With the Dingbro integration, garages can enjoy a fully connected parts ordering workflow, from initial quote through to stock management,” said Ray Dilsons, Managing Director of Garage Hive. “By integrating with Dingbro, we’re giving Scottish garages a faster, more accurate, and traceable way to manage their parts ordering, saving time and reducing errors.”
The Dingbro integration offers a simple setup process. Users simply need to link their customer ID, location code, and placeholder items, ensuring all parts are tracked correctly and purchase orders remain accurate.
Once connected, selecting ‘open Dingbro online’ automatically passes vehicle details to the Dingbro portal. After adding items to the Dingbro basket, users select ‘send order to Garage Hive’, seamlessly pulling descriptions, quantities, and costs back into the system.
On parts delivery, garages finalise the workflow by converting temporary placeholder items into actual stock or non-stock items directly within Garage Hive.
This latest integration is one of many for Garage Hive, which also connects users to LKQ Euro Car Parts, GSF Car Parts, NAPA Auto Parts, Castrol and Micheldever Tyre Services, offering a wide range of parts, consumables and lubricants through a single, seamless system.
