HELLA to re-enter thermal management with 1,200 parts

HELLA is making a strong return to thermal management at Automechanika Birmingham this week (3 – 5 June), unveiling plans for an initial range of 1,200 key air conditioning and engine cooling components – expanding to 6,000 parts by 2027.

The move reinforces HELLA’s position as a full-range supplier in the automotive aftermarket and marks a significant step in bringing advanced OE technology directly to UK workshops.

“HELLA has been at the forefront of thermal management for over 20 years,” said Neil Grant, Managing Director at HELLA UK. “We’re excited to bring our OE expertise back to the aftermarket, providing garages with a comprehensive, future-ready solution they can trust.”

The new lineup includes essential components such as compressors, condensers, interior blowers, radiator fans, radiators, and intercoolers, all engineered to OE standards.

Looking further ahead, HELLA will introduce pioneering OE technologies for electric vehicles, including coolant control hubs (CCH), electronic valve actuators (eVA), and medium pumps (MPX).

“Our goal is to fully integrate thermal management with our established electronics range, comprised of everything from coolant thermostats and temperature sensors to air quality modules,” added Neil. “This approach makes it easier for workshops to source quality thermal parts and reinforces HELLA’s reputation as a trusted brand that delivers first-time fixes.”

Beyond the extensive parts range, workshops also benefit from Hella Gutmann’s advanced diagnostics and software solutions, including remote services covering more than 48,000 vehicle models. Meanwhile, professional training and a rich library of technical resources are available on HELLA Tech World, an online platform offering in-depth insights into the latest vehicle systems. Together, these tools give technicians the confidence to handle today’s complex thermal management challenges effectively.
