Plans underway for 2026 return of Irish Garage Business Growth Event

Following the success of the recent Garage Business Growth Event in Cork, plans are now in motion for 2026.

Launched in 2024 by J.P. D’Arcy, a Cork-based garage owner, the Garage Business Growth Event aims to help independent garages tackle the challenges of running a profitable and resilient business. The inaugural event sold out quickly, demonstrating a strong appetite among Irish garage owners for practical guidance and peer-to-peer learning.

The 2025 edition built on that momentum, bringing more than 140 garage owners, technicians, and industry experts together in August. Attendees explored a wide range of topics, including business efficiency, financial planning, team-building, and mental health, leaving them with actionable strategies to strengthen their operations.

Garage Services Online supported the event with its video production services. The ‘GSO Studio’ production team filmed the expert-led sessions in broadcast-quality, with the footage set to be shared across the trade in the coming weeks.

Building on its growing presence beyond the UK, Garage Services Online is focused on supporting Ireland’s independent garage community with the same proven digital expertise and creative services that help workshops thrive.

“We’re proud to support initiatives like the Garage Business Growth Event,” said Jim Lang, Managing Director of Garage Services Online. “Our role is to help amplify these learnings so garages everywhere can benefit. It’s about connecting garages with the knowledge and services they need to succeed, and we’re proud to play a part in making that happen.”

Future events will build on the successful Cork formula, combining expert-led sessions, interactive workshops, and networking opportunities tailored to the needs of independent garage owners.

“The goal has always been to share what we’ve learned from running a small garage and help others navigate the challenges of the industry,” said J.P. D’Arcy. “The response so far has been incredible, and we’re excited to bring the same energy and insights next year.”

Further details, including confirmed dates and speakers, will be announced in the coming months. Those interested in attending can stay informed via updates shared on Garage Services Online’s social media channels.
