Following a highly successful appearance at the UK Garage & Bodyshop Event last week (3-4 June), HELLA UK has reported record engagement from independent garages looking to expand their technical capability, tackle increasingly complex vehicle systems and unlock new revenue opportunities.
Hella Gutmann demonstrated how its latest generation of diagnostic platforms and ADAS calibration equipment is helping independent workshops bridge the gap between main dealer capability and aftermarket access.
The headline attraction was the official UK launch of the Hella Gutmann CSC-Tool PRO, a next-generation ADAS calibration system which simplifies and accelerates the calibration process while reducing the risk of costly errors. It combines advanced sensor technology, intelligent software and digital process guidance to deliver precise front camera and radar calibration through a fully guided workflow.

“The CSC-Tool PRO generated a huge amount of interest because it addresses one of the biggest challenges workshops face with ADAS calibration: setup time and the potential for error,” said Julian Goulding, Head of Garage Equipment at Hella Gutmann.
“By automating chassis pre-checks, digitalising calibration targets and pulling the latest OE data directly from the cloud, we’re making the process faster, more accurate and easier for technicians to complete with confidence. Ultimately, it helps workshops keep these high-value jobs in-house.”
The system’s integrated 3D camera offers the option to automatically check the geometry of both vehicle axles before calibration begins, identifying any deviations that could compromise results. Combined with its fully digital workflow, the CSC-Tool PRO provides guided procedures and automatic documentation throughout the calibration process.
The system automatically loads calibration data and digital targets. Key processes such as target selection and positioning height are managed automatically in line with manufacturer specifications, while the 86-inch Ultra HD display provides technicians with clear, real-time instructions.

Alongside the CSC-Tool PRO, visitors were able to get hands-on with the recently introduced mega macs PLUS. Designed for workshops requiring advanced multi-brand diagnostics within a flexible Windows-based tablet environment, the new tool was demonstrated alongside the popular mega macs S 20 and mega macs X systems.
Interest also extended to Hella Gutmann’s macsRemote Services, which provides workshops with access to specialist remote support for complex coding and programming tasks. The pay-as-you-go solution helps independent garages retain work that may previously have been referred to main dealers.
Away from the stand, Hella Gutmann’s Technical and Training Manager, Steve Fox, delivered a well-attended seminar in the Workshop Hub. His presentation focused on the growing challenge of Secure Gateway Access and provided practical guidance on working with OEM-protected vehicle data, a capability integrated across the latest Hella Gutmann diagnostic platforms.
Meanwhile, Hella Gutmann’s UK Sales Manager, Riccardo Sorano, provided an update on the brand’s collaboration with the IAAF’s Garage Den initiative. Following the mega macs S 20’s success with the ‘Garage Dragons’ in late 2025, Riccardo highlighted the progress of Hella Gutmann’s partnership with Gary Wood of Intelligent Auto, demonstrating how the platform’s cost-free Cyber Security Management functionality provides access to more than 20 manufacturer security gateways.
At the event’s dedicated ‘live demo’ arena, Riccardo also performed ADAS calibration demonstrations on a 2018 Nissan Leaf, giving garage owners and technicians the opportunity to see first-hand what is involved and how calibration can be integrated into everyday workshop operations.
“The level of engagement we saw across both days reflects the challenges facing independent workshops,” said Neil Grant, Managing Director at HELLA UK. “Garages want to retain more work, invest in new revenue streams and reduce their dependence on dealer networks. The technologies we showcased at the event are designed to help them do exactly that, while maintaining the standards of accuracy, safety and efficiency demanded by modern vehicles.”
