The Independent Garage Association (IGA) has announced that the next British Independent Garage Awards will be held on Friday 18th June 2027 at the Coventry Building Society Arena.
The renowned awards evening moves to a new venue for 2027, offering another unforgettable night of entertainment and recognition for the very best talent and achievements across the independent garage sector.
Stuart James, CEO of Independent Garage Association, said: “The BIG Awards continue to be a highlight of the industry calendar providing a valuable opportunity to recognise and celebrate the exceptional talent, commitment and professionalism that exists throughout the independent garage sector.
“Independent garages play a vital role in the UK’s automotive aftermarket, working tirelessly every day to keep motorists safe and mobile through the delivery of essential servicing, maintenance, repairs and vehicle safety testing.
“These prestigious awards are an opportunity to shine a spotlight on these achievements, recognising the individuals and businesses that go above and beyond while bringing the independent garage community together to celebrate success and share in the pride of what our sector delivers.”
The IGA will shortly be announcing the categories for the 2027 event, which will provide garages with the chance to showcase their achievements across all aspects of running an independent garage business.
Once the categories have been announced, further details will be published by the IGA, and garages will be encouraged to submit their entries. There is also further information to be released regarding the host for the evening’s awards.
The awards are open to all independent garages based in the UK and represent a chance for Britain’s independent garages to take centre stage and showcase their contributions to moving the industry forwards.
