The Independent Garage Association (IGA) has confirmed that Allianz will return as headline sponsor for the British Independent Garage (BIG) Awards 2027.
Regarded as a benchmark for excellence across the sector, the BIG Awards celebrate independent businesses that lead the way in operational standards, customer satisfaction, and workshop innovation.
As part of its renewed backing, Allianz will once again present the ceremony’s premier accolade: British Independent Garage of the Year.
The 2027 awards ceremony will take place on Friday 18 June 2027 at the CBS Arena in Coventry.

The full lineup of award categories is due to be unveiled in the coming weeks, with entries opening shortly.
Garage owners, technicians, and workshop teams are encouraged to start compiling evidence of their achievements now, from customer service benchmarks and staff development to technical investment, ready to put their businesses forward for national recognition.
