Original equipment manufacturer Schaeffler has picked up the Automotive Aftermarket Parts Manufacturer of the Year Award at the 2026 Auto Trade EXPO in Dublin, showcasing its expanding product portfolio alongside its REPXPERT workshop support platform.

Taking prime position at the entrance of the RDS Simmonscourt exhibition hall, the supplier fielded a team of technical specialists to engage with technicians, workshop owners, and motor factors on OE-standard repair methods and workshop best practice.

While the manufacturer’s established LuK transmission, INA valvetrain, and FAG chassis lines formed a prominent part of the stand, the primary focus centred on the newly integrated Schaeffler Vitesco product range.

Following Schaeffler’s acquisition and integration of powertrain specialist Vitesco Technologies, the showcase gave technicians a close-up look at high-tech electrical and thermal management components entering the replacement parts chain.

The display featured transmission control units (TCUs) and dedicated electronic actuators, OE-specification diesel fuel injectors, and exhaust gas treatment components, including high-failure-rate replacement NOx sensors.

The inclusion of these complex components marks a notable evolution for independent workshops, expanding access to genuine OE electronic and emissions hardware that has historically driven motorists back to main dealer networks.

Alongside component hardware, the team demonstrated practical repair guidance and technical literature accessible via the REPXPERT technical platform.

The platform, available as a free mobile app across iOS and Android or via repxpert.co.uk, provides technicians and apprentices with step-by-step vehicle-specific fitting instructions, torque specifications, tooling guides, and dual-mass flywheel (DMF) tolerance data designed to prevent installation errors on the ramp.

The Automotive Aftermarket Parts Manufacturer of the Year accolade highlights the supplier’s dual reputation across the trade: delivering precision OE parts that fit first time, backed by the hands-on diagnostic and technical data workshops require to complete complex repairs with confidence.
